Mummies Exhibit in Guanajuato

I don't know much about these mummies. What I did understand is that the minerals here in this particular town are very rich in some kind of preservative. So when all these bodies were found they were preserved way beyond what they would have been normally. It seemed disrespectful and irreverent to me to have them on display like this. But apparently it's a huge attraction for the city. Hey... we went!
