Little Daisy Scout

I really need to learn to rotate photos on here. This is Ellie in her Daisy Girl Scout uniform. She and Whitney and Brianna are all girl scouts this year. We decided to try it out. They've had lots of fun. One "fun" thing we just finished up with was Girl Scout cookies. Between the 3 of them they sold about 100 boxes in the neighborhood, and then we took several turns working at cookie booths. That actually was pretty fun. They cookies sell themselves. Everyone loves girl scout cookies!

"I don't want to have babies"

This morning Tessy asked me where Papa was.
"He's helping out at the high school today." I explained.
"Oh, at Lulu's school?" she asked.
"No, at the high school, not the junior high."
"At the ninas' school?"
"No, at the high school, where the really big kids go."
"How big?" She asked.
"Between 15 and 18." I told her.
"Oooh." She smiled. "I want to teach those kids."
"Do you think those kids would like to learn from a 4-year-old?" I asked
"No! When I'm big." she explained.
"I bet you would be a great high school teacher." Then out of the blue she said,
"But I DON'T want to have babies. Then you have to go to the doctor." This was not the first time she's told me that she doesn't want to have babies.
"Oh, but they're so cute and squishy and cuddly!" I told her.
"They're not cuddly," she insisted. "They SLOBBER."

Tuna Ebleskievers

Today Tessy wanted a tuna sandwhich. We were all out of bread, but I have some leftover Ebleskievers in the fridge. So this is Tessy eating her tunafish ebleskiever sandwhiches. Pomegranate Grandma would have told me we are terrible Danes (Ebleskievers are Danish)! Then she'd have laughed and eaten a tuna ebleskiever with us!
(I'm a do-do and couldn't figure out how to rotate the photo!! But hey, at least I posted one!!)
